About the role

Aarhus University (Department of Computer Science) is hiring an HCI Postdoctoral Research Fellow for MIRA (Multimodal Interaction for Remote Physical Artefacts), a two-year project funded by an ERC Consolidator Grant. The researcher will lead technical development of novel interaction systems combining visual, auditory and haptic feedback to support remote collaboration with physical objects, exploring how digital interfaces can extend rather than merely replicate the experience of manipulating tools and materials at a distance. Full-time, on-site in Aarhus, expected start 1 February 2027.
