UCSF's Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, in partnership with the Cardiovascular Research Institute, is recruiting faculty (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, In-Residence series) at the Mission Bay campus to conduct independent research in synthetic chemistry and/or chemical biology within a collaborative discovery environment.
Candidates must hold a PhD, show substantial research accomplishment, and be committed to graduate student mentorship; the department welcomes applicants at all career stages. Review of applications begins November 15, 2026.
