About the role
Natera is hiring a Manager, QC Development in San Carlos, CA to lead a team developing and optimizing Quality Control tests and biochemical process methods for reagents and kits used in its CLIA laboratory, modifying existing methods and developing new ones to support routine lot release. The manager provides technical and scientific support during deviations or non-conformance events, oversees technical transfer of new product QC methods from R&D to Operations, and authors/revises SOPs and validation documentation, alongside personnel management responsibilities.
Requires a PhD in Molecular Biology or a related field, at least 4 years of industry experience, prior management experience, and strong molecular biology/NGS assay expertise; CLIA/FDA laboratory support experience is a plus.
