About the role
Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the CHUM Microbiome Centre, Montreal, focused on developing microbiome-based therapies to improve cancer immunotherapy outcomes in melanoma and lung cancer. Responsibilities include designing and executing preclinical studies of microbiome therapeutics, developing murine syngeneic tumor models with microbiome modulation, high-dimensional flow cytometry immune profiling, qPCR and tissue culture assays, collaborating with computational biologists on metagenomic data, and mentoring junior researchers.
Candidates need a PhD in immunology, cancer biology, cancer immunology, microbiology, or a related field, with strong murine experimental experience, flow cytometry expertise, and molecular biology skills. This is a full-time (35 hrs/week), 24-month renewable position in a multidisciplinary environment of clinicians, microbiologists, immunologists, and computational biologists.
