Prof. Ramon Grima's group at Stony Brook University is recruiting 2 postdoctoral research associates to develop mathematical and computational methods at the intersection of applied mathematics, statistical inference, machine learning and systems biology — connecting single-cell/spatial transcriptomic data to mechanistic gene-regulation models and deriving solutions for stochastic gene regulatory systems.
Requires a PhD in applied mathematics, physics, computational biology or a related quantitative field, with strong scientific computing skills (Python, MATLAB or Julia).
