About the role
The University of Liverpool's Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences (Department of Infection Biology and Microbiomes, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Grade 7, 0.4 FTE) for up to 4 months starting Autumn 2026, contributing to a BBSRC-funded project on farm practices, coinfection, and immunity in in-lay flocks, and their link to egg production and quality.
Candidates should hold a PhD in life sciences (or be near completion) or a BSc in veterinary, animal, biological sciences, epidemiology, or statistics, with expertise in data collection and statistical/epidemiological analysis and experience analyzing immunological assay data (e.g., ELISA). Candidates without a PhD are appointed at Grade 6, rising to Grade 7 on PhD conferral.
