About the role
Mayo Clinic's Department of Psychiatry and Psychology is recruiting a Research Fellow for a lab developing novel therapeutics for substance use disorders using network biology approaches, pathway modeling, and computational simulation tools, with work on human iPSC-derived neurons, astrocytes, and brain organoids modeling alcohol and opioid use disorder.
Candidates need a PhD in biology, neuroscience, pharmacology, or a related field, with proficiency in molecular techniques (Western blotting, qPCR, CRISPR, iPSC culture, RNA-sequencing) and the ability to lead projects independently. This is a full-time, permanent postdoctoral fellowship (for applicants with no more than one prior postdoc) based in Rochester, Minnesota. Application deadline December 5, 2026.
