About the role
This is an open postdoctoral call across the Ellison Institute of Technology's Generative Biology Institute: applicants choose up to three research groups from eight PIs (Leopold Parts, Rongzhen Tian, Jérôme Zürcher, Linda van Bijsterveldt, Kiarash Jamali, Fabian Rehm, Martin Spinck and Jason Chin) rather than applying to one named lab. Successful fellows will design, execute and troubleshoot experiments, help shape research direction, publish in high-impact journals, and mentor junior researchers across GBI's work on engineering biology at scale.
Requires a completed PhD in a relevant field (molecular biology, synthetic biology or related) and a strong research/publication track record. This is a general-pool opening distinct from GBI's named single-PI postings (the Chin Lab and Jamali Lab postdoc listings advertised separately).
