About the role
The University of Oxford's Nuffield Department of Medicine (Target Discovery Institute) is hiring two postdoctoral researchers in epitranscriptomics to investigate pseudouridine and related RNA-modifying enzymes in cancer, with an eye toward diagnostic applications. The role involves managing and leading research projects, developing and adapting experimental techniques, and contributing to publications and funding proposals in collaboration with partners working on RNA modification.
Applicants must hold or be nearing completion of a PhD/DPhil in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, chemistry, or a related discipline, with demonstrated expertise in molecular techniques and RNA biology. Next-generation sequencing experience, bioinformatics skills, and prior peer-reviewed publications are advantageous. This is a fixed-term, full-time post for 24 months.
