About the role
Northeastern University London's Intelligent Networked Systems Institute (INSI) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the NeuroWare Neuromorphic Computing Hardware Semiconductor IKC initiative, reporting to Professor Bipin Rajendran. The 1.5-year fixed-term role focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating neuromorphic and in-memory hardware accelerators for AI models, developing algorithms, architectures, and hardware-software co-design methodologies, collaborating across hardware design, AI/ML, and systems software teams, and supervising PhD/MSc students.
Candidates need a PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field, a strong publication record in neuromorphic hardware design, and experience with ASIC/FPGA design, hardware prototyping, and tapeout workflows.
