About the role
The Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology at Universität Tübingen, in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computational Modeling of Digital Education Data. The successful candidate will apply theory-driven cognitive computational modeling to rich, intensive educational data from learning platforms and digital tools, developing independent research on topics such as learning, curiosity, motivation, and self-regulation.
Applicants need a PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or a related field, strong expertise in cognitive computational modeling, and a demonstrated research track record; prior education-research experience is not required. The position is full-time (E 13 TV-L) for three years, with possible extension subject to funding.
