About the role

Postdoctoral Researcher position (Max Planck Society, Magdeburg) studying biomolecular phase transitions of proteins and peptides using droplet microfluidics and bulk-scale experiments. The researcher will help establish a new lab, run high-throughput experiments measuring thermodynamic and kinetic properties, and mentor students. Requires a PhD in chemistry, bioengineering, biophysics or a related field, hands-on microfluidics experience (device fabrication, droplet generation), fluorescence microscopy expertise, a protein/peptide characterisation background, a strong publication record, and fluent English (German proficiency preferred). Three-year contract.
