About the role

Ginkgo Bioworks is hiring a Scientist for its Datapoints team to build and benchmark machine learning models that predict and design antibody developability, working with data from the PROPHET-Ab biophysical platform plus public antibody datasets. Responsibilities include building predictive models using protein language model embeddings and structural features, building leakage-safe evaluation frameworks, assessing cross-format model transfer, and maintaining reproducible computational pipelines. Requires a PhD in a quantitative field with applied machine learning experience, strong Python skills, supervised learning expertise on biological data, and familiarity with protein embeddings such as ESM. This is a hybrid role based in Boston, MA.
