About the role
Ginkgo Bioworks is hiring Senior Software Engineers for its Catalyst platform team, which powers the company's Autonomous Lab product spanning AI agent interfaces, customer solutions, orchestration, data management, and infrastructure. Engineers independently design and ship complex features end-to-end, own major system components, and work closely with scientists and lab operators to turn real-world lab requirements into durable software. Requires 5+ years of software development with strong Python and experience owning production systems; laboratory automation, LLM applications, or Kubernetes experience is a plus. Onsite in Boston; no visa sponsorship.
