About the role
Xaira Therapeutics is hiring a Scientist II for its Genomics Core within the High Throughput Biology organization, responsible for generating the sequencing data that powers the company's AI-driven drug discovery platform. The role involves designing, optimizing, and executing next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows on Illumina platforms (MiSeq, NextSeq, NovaSeq) and 10x Genomics single-cell workflows, supporting CRISPR-based perturbation studies and single-cell genomics. The scientist partners closely with Functional Genomics, Disease Biology, Automation, and Computational Biology teams to scale sequencing strategies, and provides technical leadership on library prep, QC, and workflow troubleshooting.
