About the role
AbCellera is hiring a Scientist II or Senior Scientist for its Separation Science team to build capabilities for analyzing and characterizing proteins in support of early-phase monoclonal antibody CMC programs. The role develops and optimizes separations-based analytical methods (LC, CE, icIEF) for release testing and product characterization, establishes lab workflows and best practices, and evaluates new technologies to improve throughput and quality.
Requires a PhD in biology, biochemistry, chemical biology, or a related discipline with 2-5 years of industry experience (Scientist II) or 5+ years (Senior Scientist); candidates with an MSc and significant relevant experience are also considered. Requires hands-on experience with SEC, RP-LC, CE, and icIEF, protein characterization expertise, and familiarity with regulatory filings (CTAs, INDs, BLAs, IMPDs) and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
