About the role
Altos Labs is hiring a Scientist/Senior Scientist in Membrane Biochemistry to advance its brain aging and neurodegeneration research programs. The role designs and executes workflows for purifying and characterizing transmembrane proteins, including expression, chromatography, membrane reconstitution into liposomes/nanodiscs, and cryo-EM sample preparation, plus biochemical assays and biophysical characterization (BLI/SPR/ITC, SEC-MALS, DLS). Requires a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biophysics or Structural Biology and strong experimental rigor.
