About the role

Sanofi is hiring a Senior Principal Scientist in Type 2 Immunology for its Translational Biology team at the Cambridge Crossing research campus. The role leads preclinical research programs from hypothesis generation through experimental execution, supports early clinical and marketed product programs, and translates clinical insights into research strategy. Work involves designing experiments using murine and human immunology approaches, developing novel assays, and applying advanced technologies including single-cell approaches and multiomics, while mentoring junior team members and maintaining hands-on bench engagement. Candidates need a PhD in immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology, or a related field with 8+ years of experience (or equivalent with a Master's or Bachelor's), a track record leading preclinical research or contributing to clinical/marketed programs, and strong expertise in human and murine immunology including flow cytometry, scRNA-seq, and multi-omic platforms. Experience with Type 2 inflammatory disease areas (dermatology, respiratory, GI, rheumatology) and clinical biomarker strategy is preferred.
