Roche Diagnostics is hiring a Biostatistician/Data Scientist in Personalized Healthcare, based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain, within its 100+ person global Biostatistics & Personalized Healthcare team (also in Penzberg, Indianapolis, and Mannheim). The role contributes directly to research, development, and validation of biomarkers and companion diagnostics (CDx): writing and validating reproducible statistical analysis scripts in R, performing code peer-reviews and quality checks against SOPs and regulatory standards, drafting Statistical Analysis Plans and sample-size/power calculations, and partnering with interdisciplinary study teams. Requires an MSc or PhD in (bio)statistics, mathematics, data science, physics, epidemiology, or a related quantitative field, foundational knowledge of diagnostic statistical methods (ROC analysis, cutoff determination, logistic regression, survival analysis), and strong R skills (R Markdown, knitr, or Quarto).
