Staff Applied AI Engineer - Enterprise AI Solutions

Snorkel AI is hiring a Staff Applied AI Engineer for its Enterprise AI Solutions team, working directly with customers to scope, build, and deploy Gen AI/ML solutions -- including RAG systems, fine-tuning pipelines, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows -- from initial design through production deployment. The role also covers building evaluation workflows and augmented datasets for model reliability, managing relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, and standardizing solutions into reusable recipes and best practices. Requirements include a B.S. in a quantitative field (computer science, engineering, math, or statistics), 3+ years of customer-facing AI/ML solution experience, strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, and expertise spanning classical ML through foundation models, RAG, and evaluation. Up to 25% travel is expected. Location is hybrid in San Francisco or New York City, or remote within the US. Posted compensation for Tier 1 locations: $230,000 - $360,000 USD plus equity.
