Software Engineer — AI Platform

Snorkel AI's AI Platform organization builds the infrastructure behind the company's frontier AI data work: synthetic data generation, evaluation, agentic workflows, simulation environments, LLM infrastructure, and distributed compute at scale. This Senior/Staff-level Software Engineer will build infrastructure for running large-scale agentic workloads, synthetic data and evaluation pipelines, simulation environments, orchestration/distributed-compute systems, and LLM infrastructure (routing, rate limiting, caching, provider failover), with an emphasis on making non-deterministic AI workloads observable, reproducible, and measurable. Requires 5+ years building production software systems with AI/ML infrastructure, distributed systems, or backend-platform experience; strong Python and cloud (AWS preferred) background; and hands-on experience operating non-deterministic AI/ML workloads in production at significant scale. Familiarity with workflow/distributed-execution frameworks (Prefect, Airflow, Dagster, Ray, Kubernetes) is a plus. Hybrid in New York City or San Francisco; no salary figure is published on the posting.
