About the role

Defense Unicorns is seeking a Senior AI Agentic Engineer to embed with a government team building an AI-powered engineering ecosystem. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and operationalizing AI agents and agentic workflows in a secure enterprise environment, including building multi-agent systems with modern LLM technologies, integrating agents with enterprise APIs and mission systems, developing evaluation frameworks for agent accuracy and safety, implementing guardrails and policy controls, and collaborating with platform engineers on Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment. Minimum qualifications include an active TS/SCI clearance, hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI applications, agent design experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases. Preferred qualifications include MCP experience, multi-agent framework expertise (LangGraph/LangChain), and experience deploying in classified environments.
