Defense Unicorns is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to embed with a government team, making enterprise data usable, discoverable, governed, and accessible to AI models and mission applications. Responsibilities include designing production data pipelines, integrating structured and unstructured data sources, establishing data quality and governance practices, designing secure access patterns, and collaborating with platform engineers on Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment.
Minimum qualifications include an active TS/SCI clearance, 7+ years of data engineering experience, SQL/Python proficiency, production pipeline and REST API/event system integration experience, and data governance familiarity. Preferred qualifications include AI/ML workload support, vector/graph database experience, data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster), and classified-environment experience.
