About the role
This role provides day-to-day technical support for Clinical Sciences research laboratories at the University of Bristol, spanning sites including the Dorothy Hodgkin Building and Bristol Royal Infirmary. The technician maintains laboratory equipment and protective gear, manages hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal, supports equipment such as PCR machines and autoclaves, and maintains stock and inventory records across research areas covering neuroscience, renal studies, cardiovascular work, diabetes and metabolism, and cancer. Candidates need laboratory experience or equivalent practical skills, strong IT capability, and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
