About the role
Natera's Foresight Diagnostics business unit is hiring a Laboratory Systems Scientist, on-site in Boulder, CO, to serve as subject-matter expert for laboratory operations infrastructure at this liquid-biopsy cancer-detection lab. The role develops and tests non-product software/automation solutions, designs and executes qualification, validation, and verification plans under CAP, CLIA, and NYSDOH regulations, troubleshoots lab equipment and automated platforms, and authors SOPs and training materials, while maintaining wet-lab competency on bench equipment.
Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, biology, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology, 4+ years of relevant lab experience (2+ with an advanced degree), and experience in CAP/CLIA/NYSDOH-regulated environments plus NGS workflows. The posting lists a pay range of $103,000 - $115,000.
