About the role

The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences' Tissue Biology Group in London is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Scientist (3-year fixed term) to resolve cell lineage within tissue samples by developing DNA methylation barcodes and adapting semi-permeable capsule chemistry for single-cell multiomic sequencing with spatial coordinates. The successful candidate will generate initial datasets and analyze sequencing data independently, working at the bench from day one. A PhD (or equivalent experience) in genomics, molecular biology, computational biology, bioengineering, or a related field is required, with strong capability in either experimental genomics or computational analysis and an aptitude for the complementary skillset. The position qualifies for UK Global Talent Visa endorsement, with visa costs reimbursed.
