The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences' Genomic Variation and Disease Group seeks a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to study molecular mechanisms of gene regulation and develop platforms for engineering patient-specific structural variants, using CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, high-throughput CRISPR screens, in vitro cellular differentiation, and in vivo mouse models to investigate how genomic variation affects noncoding-genome function. Requires a background in molecular biology; extensive on-the-job training is provided.
