About the role
Merck's Computational Toxicology group (Nonclinical Drug Safety) is hiring a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow in West Point, PA to advance AI/ML and structure-based methods for predicting immunogenicity of biologic and peptide therapeutics. Work includes curating biological/structural/clinical datasets, building multimodal machine-learning models combining sequence, structural, and experimental data, and benchmarking predictive models for translational safety assessment, with an emphasis on first-author publications and conference presentations.
Requires a PhD (held or expected by spring 2027) in computational immunology, computational biology, computational chemistry, structural biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
