Merck (MSD) is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in NMR Spectroscopy for its Pharmaceutical Analysis & Digital Technologies group in Rahway, NJ. The fellow will develop next-generation NMR approaches for structural characterization of biologics and complex pharmaceutical molecules, building automated workflows to interpret chemical shifts and other spectral features, integrating NMR with molecular dynamics and AI/ML-based structure prediction, and publishing results in peer-reviewed journals.
Requires a PhD (held or expected by spring 2027) in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or chemical engineering, with demonstrated NMR expertise and a record of peer-reviewed publications.
