About the role

18-month Post-Doctoral Research Assistant post (UOD2284) in the Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation (CeTPD), University of Dundee, co-supervised by Professor Alessio Ciulli and Dr Will Farnaby, within the multi-institutional CONTROL-MITO team. The synthetic medicinal chemist/chemical biologist will design, synthesise and characterise novel bifunctional chemical probes (e.g. BromoTag/dTAG-style chimeras) to induce protein-protein proximity in the mitochondrial matrix, working an iterative design-make-test-analyse cycle alongside a paired structural biology postdoc (UOD2285).
