The Arbibe Laboratory at the INEM Institute (Institut Necker Enfants Malades) in Paris is recruiting a postdoc, part of an ANR-funded consortium, to study how circular RNAs and double-stranded RNAs contribute to intestinal inflammation and epithelial repair in inflammatory bowel disease. Work spans circRNA biogenesis and functional characterization in the gut epithelium, dsRNA biology, and molecular/cellular approaches using organoids, mouse models, and human IBD samples.
Applicants must have defended a PhD within the last two years in RNA biology, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, or a related field, with hands-on expertise validating circRNAs (divergent RT-PCR, RNase R resistance, back-splice junction sequencing). Experience with RIP-seq, CLIP/eCLIP-seq, RNA interaction mapping, epitranscriptomic methods, mouse models, or intestinal organoid culture is a plus. The position runs 3 years, starting February 2027.
