The University of Sheffield's School of Mathematical & Physical Sciences (Prof. David Lidzey's group), on an ARIA-funded project, is recruiting a postdoctoral Research Associate to fabricate thin-film encapsulation layers on carbon-fibre-based perovskite solar cells for aerospace/UAV applications, using e-beam evaporation and spray-coating, and to characterize device performance and operational lifetime under thermal cycling and low-temperature stress, working with the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre.
Requires a PhD (or near completion) in Physics, Physical Chemistry or Materials Science with hands-on perovskite fabrication/encapsulation experience.
