The University of Sheffield's School of Medicine & Population Health is recruiting a Research Associate (24-month) for the CAPTURE-PH RAIDA program to translate and retrain cardiothoracic CT AI tools across large pulmonary hypertension cohorts, addressing scanner heterogeneity and data quality, and developing segmentation/prediction pipelines linking imaging to right-heart catheterisation, lung function, walk testing, MRI and outcomes.
Requires a PhD (or equivalent) in computer science, machine learning or medical imaging, strong Python/PyTorch skills and 3D medical imaging experience; background in domain adaptation, nnU-Net or explainable AI is a plus.
