The University of Sheffield's School of Medicine & Population Health is recruiting a Research Associate in Multimodal Neuroimaging for a Wellcome Trust-funded initiative studying the novel application of hyperpolarised xenon to study gas exchange in the brain, under PI Isabel Christie. The researcher will acquire preclinical data within a multidisciplinary team, design MR acquisition protocols, develop data analysis pipelines, and work toward detecting early indicators of cerebral Small Vessel Disease using tracer kinetic models.
Candidates should have experience with MRI physics, experimental physiology, and image processing, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This is a fixed-term position.
