About the role
Six-month fixed-term Research Fellow position in Human Genetics & Genomic Medicine at the University of Southampton, joining an interdisciplinary team of genomic informaticians, clinicians, bioinformaticians and clinical data scientists working on genomic data science for inflammatory bowel disease. Responsibilities include running and maintaining next-generation sequencing data pipelines, integrating genomic and clinical datasets, and data harmonisation/analysis; experience with large-scale clinical data and large language models is desirable. Note: does not qualify for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Closing date 4 September 2026.
