About the role
IMD's Risk & Resilience Initiative is hiring a Research Fellow to bridge Earth systems science and corporate governance, translating planetary-boundaries and climate research into board-level guidance. The role is a 3-year fixed-term post for a PhD holder in engineering or natural sciences (Earth sciences, environmental engineering, industrial ecology, or similar), and involves co-developing business-relevant research, publishing in top academic journals, writing practitioner-facing white papers, and contributing to teaching materials. Candidates need strong quantitative skills (econometrics, data analysis, text analytics), a track record of publication in top-tier journals, and full English fluency (French or German is a plus).
