About the role
King's College London is recruiting a Research Scientist (Medical) for the EMBRACE programme, a £35M, 60,000-participant international study of physical activity during pregnancy involving 20,000 mothers, 20,000 infants, and up to 20,000 partners. The post holder will help design, implement, and evaluate physical-activity interventions for pregnant people, working across an interdisciplinary team spanning maternal health, exercise science, and digital health, and will also co-supervise students and present findings at conferences and in publications. Essential requirements include a medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent), knowledge of pregnancy-specific physical activity guidelines, and experience with digital health intervention evaluation; a PhD and wearable-technology assessment experience are desirable.
