About the role

Merck's Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, Metabolism, and Bioanalytics (PDMB) organization is hiring a Scientist to join the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) group in South San Francisco. The role provides laboratory support for multi-disciplinary drug discovery, focusing on preclinical development of therapeutics across modalities (including biologics and conjugates) through integrated understanding of drug disposition and pharmacology. Responsibilities include planning and conducting in vitro/ex vivo DMPK studies on biologics and other modalities, interpreting and presenting data to inform pipeline decisions, and contributing to discovery bioanalytical science initiatives. Candidates need a bachelor's (3+ years) or master's in a relevant scientific discipline, with hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays (e.g., ligand binding, FACS), and biomatrix handling.
