UCL Energy Institute is hiring a Senior Research Fellow in Maritime and Ocean Governance, funded for 12 months in the first instance. The fellow will lead policy work on shipping decarbonization and develop new research on ocean governance, including ocean acidification and maritime carbon dioxide removal, engaging directly with policy forums such as the IMO. The role includes supporting commercial/policy consultancy projects and mentoring MSc and PhD students in the Shipping and Oceans Research group. Requires a PhD in business/economics, law, or political science with cross-disciplinary knowledge of the shipping and ocean sectors.
