About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Genome Center (directed by Dr. Feixiong Cheng) is hiring 2 Postdoctoral Research Fellows (or non-tenure-track Assistant Professor appointments) to combine experimental systems biology, AI, genomics, and multi-omics with a database of 100 million electronic patient records to study complex diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease and brain health. Research spans interactomics, functional genomics (CRISPRi/CRISPRa and Prime editing), transcriptomics, proteomics, radiomics, and metabolomics.
The wet lab track requires strong experimental experience in functional genomics (CRISPR and Prime editing), with patient iPSC-derived neuron/microglia/astrocyte models or brain organoid experience preferred. The dry lab track requires a PhD/MD in bioinformatics, genome science, systems biology, computational biology, or machine learning, programming proficiency (R, Python, Perl, C++, or Java), and experience with large-scale genomic databases (ADSP, TopMed, TCGA). Applications are reviewed until filled (deadline December 31, 2026).
