Staff Avionics Engineer

Inversion is an aerospace and defense company building Arc, a highly maneuverable reentry spacecraft for rapid global cargo delivery, hypersonic testing, and national security missions. The company is seeking a Staff Avionics Engineer to lead architecture and implementation of flight computers and avionics platforms from concept through qualification, including digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design, PCB design in Altium, environmental and vibration/thermal/vacuum qualification testing, and system architecture trade studies. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, 8+ years designing spacecraft or satellite compute electronics, PCB design expertise, mixed-signal and digital communications protocol experience, FPGA/microprocessor implementation knowledge, high-speed signal integrity analysis, and fault-tolerant systems design. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret/Top Secret clearance, and is restricted to U.S. citizens or permanent residents under ITAR.
