Hyliion is standing up metal 3D printing operations at a new manufacturing facility as part of its distributed power generation business. The Technician, Print Operations will set up print jobs and perform routine maintenance on metal powder-bed 3D printing equipment, working directly with the engineering team to produce prototype hardware. Duties include downstream post-print processing (powder evacuation, prepping parts for outgassing/finishing work) and helping advance the printing process to yield quality parts faster.
Requires a high school diploma/GED, at least 5 years of hands-on work experience, and additive manufacturing or CNC machine experience, plus comfort operating equipment that requires calibration or detailed setup. This is an hourly, non-exempt role based in a production/assembly/engineering lab environment, with possible overtime.
