About the role
Hyliion develops distributed power generation systems, including its KARNO Power Module, and is hiring a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to own the technical health of its precision machining supply base. The role serves as the senior technical authority for machined content on the KARNO Power Module, covering tolerances, surface finish, and other machining quality requirements. Candidates need at least 8 years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering, with knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5, first article inspection, part qualification processes such as AS9102 and PPAP, and supplier capability assessments against AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems. The role requires roughly 50 to 60 percent travel.
