About the role
Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence's Computing and Mathematical Sciences Division is hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher in statistics and machine learning, under Prof. Souhaib Ben Taieb, with emphasis on probabilistic machine learning, decision-focused uncertainty quantification, conformal prediction, tabular foundation models, and time-series forecasting (candidates from other ML/statistics areas are also welcome).
Applicants need a PhD in applied mathematics, computer science, statistics, data science, or a related field, strong Python skills, and a solid publication record; experience with reproducible research software and multidisciplinary collaboration is preferred. This is a two-year, fully funded position with tax-free pay, housing allowance, medical insurance, annual return flights, and visa support. Application deadline December 5, 2026.
