About the role
The Pathania Lab at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, University of Oxford, is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to develop disease-representative models of brain tumours, focused on ependymoma and atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumours, to identify precision therapy opportunities and treatment-resistance mechanisms using in vivo models, cell lines, CRISPR screening, and computational biology.
The role carries senior-lab-member responsibilities: designing independent studies, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to publications and grant applications. Requires a PhD/DPhil in molecular biology or a related field, cancer research experience with in vivo/PDX models, demonstrated scientific independence, and a first-author publication record. Spatial/single-cell omics, CRISPR screening, cancer immunology, or organoid experience is a plus.
