About the role Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Oxford, on a 2-year fixed-term contract funded by the Wellcome Trust through the ARIADNE consortium, based at the Warneford Hospital.
The role is to develop AI safety mechanisms for an AI system that conducts clinical psychiatric interviews — building LLM "supervisor" modules that detect problematic responses — and to evaluate them using simulated patient scenarios plus human clinician validation.
Full-time, hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week on-site.
