About the role
Postdoctoral position in the Clinical Cognitive Neuroscience group led by Dr. David Berron, part of the DFG Research Unit 'Layers of Memory' spanning Bochum, Bonn, Dortmund, Duisburg-Essen, Magdeburg and Tuebingen, plus partner sites in the Netherlands and Austria. The role involves acquiring and analyzing 7T laminar fMRI data using movie-based event segmentation paradigms, segmenting MTL subregions and hippocampal subfields, and applying multivariate analyses to study how Alzheimer's disease disrupts memory processes. Duties include co-supervising students and preparing manuscripts.
Requires a PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a related field, experience with fMRI analysis (7T/laminar imaging preferred), expertise in MTL/hippocampal subfield anatomy, and programming skills in R, Python, or MATLAB.
