About the role
The Big Data Institute and Institute of Developmental & Regenerative Medicine at the University of Oxford are recruiting a Postdoctoral Scientist to lead bioinformatic and statistical analysis of large-scale genomic and transcriptomic datasets, focused on RNUopathies and ReNU syndrome research. The role also involves supervising students, publishing findings, and engaging with patient advocacy groups.
Applicants need a PhD/DPhil in genomics, genetics, bioinformatics, or a related field, with proficiency in R and/or Python and a peer-reviewed publication record, along with the ability to work independently. Research Grade 7, with potential discretionary increase to £53,483; this is a two-year, full-time, fixed-term post based at the Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford.
