The University of Cambridge's Department of Pathology is hiring a Research Associate (Fixed Term, 6 months initially with possible extension) to investigate mechanisms of drug resistance in pediatric neuroblastoma, focusing on post-translational histone modifications towards novel therapeutic approaches and developing biomarkers to identify poor-prognosis patients. The role also involves supervising PhD students.
Requires a PhD in biological sciences with a proven research record, essential knowledge of molecular biology techniques including chromatin immunoprecipitation and sequencing, and preferably experience supervising doctoral researchers.
