The University of Oxford is recruiting for the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professorship of Developmental and Stem Cell Biology as Applied to Medicine, a statutory chair based at the MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine. The successful candidate will provide scientific vision and senior academic leadership for a research programme spanning blood and immune disease, cancer, cellular ageing, regenerative medicine and cell therapies, building cross-disciplinary and industry collaborations and mentoring researchers. Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent and have an outstanding research record in developmental and stem cell biology with clear relevance to human disease.
